I've had better results with ehx pitchfork than with digitec drop... 🤔 For what it's worth. The stomp can also handle it perfectly fine of course. I don't use it really often, as I play à five thought. But sometimes, it's much easier to play detuned. And sometimes, when you've spent hours...

I wouldn't call the Sadowsky à clone.🤔 Same shape but a realy different approach to sound management. You could compare it to fenders deluxe or elite, but these are not seen as the typical fenders.

Speaking for myself, I would never let go anything that has sadowsky writen on it.😆 I really am a fanboy!!! But as I'm also an addict. I would do as said, and get both... 😉👍 🥴😂

No-one ever tried to just reposition the REAR strap button (not the horn one) a little higher on the body? Like an offset straplock ? I didn't had the need to do so but simple physics suggests it should work just fine. 🤔

Best is to own many of each kind of bass ( 3 P, 3 J and 3 MM is a basic start) to mount differents kind of strings in. Flats, rounds, nickel, steel... differents brands... fretless... Then you can enjoy the real subtlety of string power tone!!! ... And your ratio will touch the sky! 😄😉

My best slap sounding bass is my Sadowsky metroline (japan) MV5 jj. With sadowsky blue rounds stainless steel.

Sire p7 in "bang for the bucks" is kind of unbeatable... 2nd gen Sadowsky metro express are also very likable. And of course you can't go wrong with the yam BB . There's plenty of great basses nowadays... Wish I had access to that kind of gear when I started playing!!!
