Congrats, hope you like it. I still have no clue on how that thing works after watching many videos. (my old is showing)
And you’re absolutely right, all the Lyra YT vids are soooooooo tame.
Its like using a Tank to go the the mall to get your nails done with a cinnamon flavoured coffee.
After using it for a little while, I’m starting to “get” it. well as much as you can get something so wild and unique sounding.

I was messing with recording fuzzy bass tonight. Not terribly ambient, but more “textural” as some might say 
I was not thrilled with the sound I was getting and I started looking at my Cab Sim pedal settings. I’ve never questioned them much, and it’s usually a decent box. As I was tweaking settings, I ran some EQ plugins in the DAW to monitor what different tweaks to my pedals were doing to the final output frequencies.
Along the way, I recalled that the OTO BIM and BAM have settings that let you run them with no “effect” except the gain, filters, and DAC, so maybe I should try that mode. Well, holy heck. Setting the HPF at 100 Hz and the LPF at 4 kHz was just the ticket. I needed to run the BIM set 100% wet to avoid a “phasing” sound. The LPF must have some resonant peak because the fuzz became more present, but not like turning up the treble EQ. I thought 100 HZ would be too high for the HPF, but if I listened with my ears instead of my preconceived notions, I realized it sounded better (using my short scale PJ Mustang). The EQ plug-in was still indicating information below 100 Hz, but the sound definitely tightened up without being too thin.
It’s not a cheap unit, but that BIM delay is pretty nice. I still might pop for a BOUM compression/distortion if I can ever find one.

Interesting... I was on the list but never got notified. That's okay, though, as I changed my mind. I don't think I'd use this enough to justify the cost, but maybe I'll pick up one used, someday. Have fun with it!

Today I had a 15 minute break between meetings and took a shot at setting up a sort of self-destructive patch. I thought I turned it off, but I'd just muted it in my monitors. I then forgot about it, and the sound continued to marinate in its juices. About 20 minutes into the next meeting, I hit "unmute" and my colleagues were treated to a wash of noise not unlike some of @ugly's compositions. One said it sounds like "some sort of noise" and another said it "sounds like a lot of dogs barking in the background."
I believe that I just unintentionally "did art."

No, I don't want to shoot AC/DC fans, as annoying as they sometimes can be.
Tried using the Erica filtered modules for a faux cab sim.
Bass > dirt pedal >modular interface > HPF > LPF > mixer
Something in the chain distorted before adding the dirt pedal, so I had to fiddle with gain stages. The filter slopes were tricky, and it sounded like they didn't cut enough, or cut too much. I couldn't get a resonance setting that sounded "right" or natural either. I'll adjust more today.
The good news is that the Euro Zoia is handy. As I was playing into the rack, one of my bass settings was getting noisy with the single coil, so I just patched in a gate with the Zoia. Fixed. I wanted some chorus on a sound, so I just dialed it in. Then I decided I wanted a tremolo instead. Boom. Done.
