Just unpacked the LeCover I got for the Changeling112 I'm testing. Looks fantastic, those creases will go away in a little bit!

Sounds like it must be as well padded as the cover I ordered from Jim to go along with the Berg CN212...I'm not sure who he has making covers for him, but the one I have seems to provide good protection and a nice fit.

I just received 2 LeCovers - I went for the the padded plus...being that these
are the last cabinets Ill be buying.

Fits great. Very happy with the purchase. I can post pics later.
They dont fold up that easily but do fold, not sure I want to, so when off may end up back in car,
or I can keep my jacket in it. Very protective for sure.

Our new Cordura® Polyester Padded Plus is urethane coated on both sides. What does this mean? Liquids roll off. It is then flame laminated to a *1/2" open cell foam with soft cloth tricote backside. Available in Black."

Hello, sorry for the long absence, had to make a couple of trips to rural (VERY rural) Louisiana starting the day after Christmas, and I didn't have internet access. Anyway I'll try to get caught up a bit over the next few days... but right now I'm focusing on shipping a couple of cabs that should have gone out last week.

I have experimented with 12" Kappalites in small vented boxes, but I don't think their parameters very work well for sealed boxes. The 3015LF works well in a sealed box, but I don't like its top end... and for what I like to do in the mids, the woofer has to overlap with the cone mids a bit, and the 3015LF isn't really suited for that.

As for a woofer-only cab, well I have been trying to build cabs with good dispersion, and that's hard to do with a single woofer. The Birdhaus 46 does combine good dispersion with a sealed box vibe (just plug the port), but it lacks power handling and low-end extension relative to a Kappalite in a small, low-tuned ported box. The Birdhaus 46 is a good low-E cab, but imo it doesn't really deliver a good low-B.

BUT, there is a solution! Mike's MVW cabs do a really good job of delivering a sealed-box-like low end, with excellent articulation and a solid low-B. And with excellent dispersion. I really don't see any point in trying to do a dedicated sealed box cab when imo Mike's cabs will beat a good sealed box at its own game.

Wouldn't need to be a sealed box, not for my needs. I simply prefer every cab I play with the tweeter or horn turned off. Some cabs work that way better than others. I just happen to love what you do sir. :)

PM responded to. Sounds like your workload is pretty well packed. If that ever changes, I'm ready for whatever you come up with.
