I believe those lyrics are from the Genesis song "Invisible Touch". Certainly approriate for this thread!
That's the first song I learned to play on a stringed instrument (a guitar, in this case.)
I've managed to avoid seriously crazy... you can't fix it, or addictions.
You are correct - my mistake. Phil seems to have a number of songs about women and broken relationships. I guess we musicians are more drawn to the cray cray. Or is it the other way around?
I haven't had anything happen to me like other people on here have, but I did meet a girl once who decided I was the one just because I was polite to her the first time we met. Well I wasn't interested in that kind of thing with her, so she got to where she would constantly text one of my friends to talk about ways to get me to date her. He let me know what she was up to. It got weird when she started trying to stalk me. Only got rid of her cause I started dating someone else. She then shifted her attention to my buddy which sucked for him since he liked her sister. He had to deal with her the whole time he was into the sister; and going on what he told me, that was probably a lot closer to some of the stories on here. I know there were a lot of times she accused him of liking her sis cause she must remind him of an ex. Luckily he ended up not going down that road, so now neither one of us has had contact from her in a while. And I hope it stays that way.
On a side note, I found out later that she had been in an institution before and was apparently suicidal.

I would suggest sending her a text that documents that it's over. If she still bothers you file a police report.

I've gotten countless text messages, phone calls and emails from her but I'm taking everyone's above this time and just ignoring them. She wants to meet up again but I'm not going thru that saga again. Some advice a friend told me: The most important 6 inches is between your chin and the top of your head.
What kind of **** is she writing?

Why do you need a girlfriend weighing you down when you've got internet access? I can have a twenty minute relationship with a chick, exit the browser, and then go play my bass or get drunk with my friends or something.
