I know this has been asked and answered before, and I should have noted it somewhere...I need the Allen size for the Super P truss rod.

I have every one of the other wrenches....I’m sure I’ll be able to pick one up at the local hardware store.

Super dry weather here and I need to loosen a half turn or so.

I wanna ask something about tuners... my Voodoo Prima has glossy black Gotoh tuners and my ABI has matte black ones (I think Hipshot Ultralites). I'm looking at the Gotoh GB350 res-o-lite tuners in Black and Cosmo Black and I was wondering if anyone knows about the finish in these two colours, if it's glossy or matte. Thanks!

That was my first question before I bought. They are 3" wide, which I find the perfect balance of width to have it large enough to distribute the weight well but not dig into your neck.

I got tired of having to go digging around looking for the correct wrench for every bass (and other items outside the music world). It's a fairly inexpensive investment to get a hex wrench set and you will be glad you did numerous times over.

Assuming you don't have one.

For the Super series, the Adjustment Wrenches are:

Yellow: Truss Rod 9/64"
Red: Neck Bolts 4mm
Green: Pickups 7/64"
Blue: Action (Saddle Height) 5/64"
White: Intonation and Knobs 1/16"

1/4 turn was all it needed.

Get ball ends if you are buying Allen wrenches. It’ll make getting into the truss rod adjustment easy.

The green taped 7/64ths for adjusting the pickup height is close to perfect as a gauge for the treble end of the pup. I think the spec was 3/32 for treble end and about twice that for the bass end. It’s suggested that you use some kind of metering device to balance the output side to side. I use an old tape deck with a vu meter.

Right and for me that didn't work, none of the Dbird switch settings worked for me so I sent it to @maurilio mina and he installed a custom 6 position rotary switch with my specific settings:

I think the 6-way is an awesome improvement, and I think Dingwall would sell a lot of them if they offered it as an option. The LeFay Pangton has a 6-way as well, configured like this:
1: Bridge solo
2: Bridge/Middle Series
3: Bridge/Middle Parallel
4: Bridge/Neck Series
5: Bridge/Neck Parallel
6: Neck solo

It's also a pretty versatile setup. It lacks the Middle Solo and Middle/Neck in Series positions that are in the @nismaniac setup. I wonder which is better. The LeFay is different though in that the bridge and middle pups are right next to each other, then the neck pick is up by the neck. So it does a really good job of emulating both a J-bass (positions 1 and 5) and a P-bass (position 6) as well as a StingRay (position 2). And it lacks the Series/Parallel switches for each pickup.

With a two pickup bass, a four position rotary makes sense but with a three pickup bass you need to have at least 6 positions to have full access to all pickups.

On my 6 pos chart, position 2 is the neck and middle pickups in series. With that selection I then flip the neck pickup into series and the middle pickup into parallel and roll off the passive tone about 60%. It's a passive, meaty, thick gritty super P sound that just pushes the speakers beautifully. This is the main sound for my band right now.

The positions on your Lefay are cool too. I thought about some of those options but ultimately I wanted to be able to always hear each pickup on its own for level setting purposes. Then, I wanted a typical Jazz setting and a series Stingray setting. At heart I'm a P bass guy so I decided to try a super P type setting with the neck and middle in series. I'm so amazed by it, this is my favorite setting, so fat and thick with definition and grit, super solid and undeniable in the mix.

Behold the super clean rewire job by Mo... I believe he just used the 6 pos rotary available on the Stew Mac website. I know nothing about wiring but I think it would have to be wired in place.

Totally do-able. You should keep your ear to the ground for a decent used one. They seem to be around and would save some bucks.

I'm actually pretty happy with the used Combustion V4 that I happened into not long ago. Same neck profile and also routed to be able to move the pickups about if you want. It might be a good way into a Dingwall for reasonable scratch and not as much saving.
