I am not sure which color I should get for the custom pickguard and I don't trust my decisionmaking enough

Voted for the grey. I think grey will look awesome with the purps
That is how I voted as well.
If you want to keep a low profile and not get noticed much, go with the black.
If you want something that is eye-catching and cool without being ridiculously gaudy, go with the grey.
None of the other choices really worked.

Yeah! Go for the vomitaloid! That will definitely catch eyes. Hopefully it’s not scratch and sniff!
I agree, the grey would also be cool. The abalone is a visual punch, the grey is more subdued, but classy, IMO. Coin toss? 
Salciniclas is in Germany, they'll have him up in the Haig if he goes with clown barf.
My preference is the black sparkle, although if it were mine I would be tempted to make one form Wenge.
Great minds - I was thinking 'dark wood' in general, but wenge would rock!

What if the big winner is "Other"? Then what are you going to do? I say take the pickguard off and put the screws back.
Thanks for all the input guys! I tend to go grey pearl as well right now. And the abalone looks awesome but i must check if the shop where I will order it has it in stock or can purchase it.
Wood looks also great. Maybe in the future tho. Right now I just don't have the money for it

Is the pickguard on the Dbird Standards just a vinyl sticker? The surface does not seem raised like the Wenge equipped Customs.
Does anyone know if the older Super Fatty pickup are Humbucker, single coil or stacked coil and if switched coil are they switchable?
We all know that won't happen!
