What's the advantage of a headless? No neck dive?

You can get a good balance with a headstock. Headless basses don't have any dead spots. Fender built a headless way back in the day for this reason, it never made it past the prototype though.

Likewise. My alder/wenge AB1 with FD3s and Glock is the bomb. Absolutely love it. Wouldn't change a thing.

Actually both, except I sold my Blue one.

But I still feel this way about my black one. One of these days I might buy a P-tone to drop into the neck position just for grins. But only because I love experimenting.

I have multiple headless basses and I don’t really see the appeal. I’m not sure the magic dead spots assertion is universally true.
