Do you have a 'brand'?

Right now it's Roscoe. I own one. I've had 5 others. If I could afford it I'd have them again. I have never been a "brand" guy really until I tried Roscoe.

- Fender Blacktop P-Bass
- Fender Jaguar.

What is Ibanez and EBMM? I can't see them in the Fender bass catalogue / website.

Nope. No "brand" that I will only consider or consider much more seriously than a number of others. That being said, I really like Benavente Vintage Vortex basses.

If I weren't playing Roscoe, I'd probably have a Lakland Skyline of some kind. A lot of bass for the money.

I've had/have Gibsons, Epi's, Musicmans,Dani's,and Yamaha's...love/loved them all...
But when I'm gonna do somthin serious, I reach for one of my P's...
Just like Carol Kay and James Jamerson...Their the Stradivarius of basses IMHO

I've had the same Warwick for over 10 years and thought I was set.... But just got my first Fender and haven't been able to put it down. Fretless 87 Jazz Bass Special.... So I guess in expanding my reach lol.

I have owned and played many brands of basses over the years. I'll buy one, play it for a time, see something else, sell what I have and make a switch. That is the way it is for most guys who can't afford to just buy any bass that strikes their fancy.

What I have found out over the years is that I am a Fender Guy. Actually, that fact that I didn't know that early on and sold some fantastic old Fender bass guitars is a point of great unhappiness for me....oh all the late 60s and early 70s Fender basses I sold. Anyway, I always end up going back to Fender.

I'm not saying it is the "best bass," I'm just saying it is the best bass for me.

Dingwall is and will always be my brand.

If i had to have only 1 brand it would be Mosrite. The second would be Modulus. The third would be Carvin.
