I think the time is coming when some sort of lo-jack tracking device or cheap burner cellphone is going to need to be included by the shipper in their high value music gear shipments.

+1. And in my opinion, they are the ones who should be standing on their heads, trying to find the shipment, not the buyer, who has already paid the hefty shipping charge for a prompt delivery.Agreed that notifying the shipper (in this case Barefaced) is the best course of action when dealing with lost parcels in the FedEx system. I do a ton of business via FedEx and the 'shipper' always seems to be able to get more info than the 'receiver'.
I see you have already done this... good luck.
What does Barefaced have to do with this? You seem to think that Alex delivers these cabs himself - he doesn't. This is 100% a FedEx thing. To even imply that BF has any part in this is in very poor taste on your part. In fact, the name of the company should not even be in the thread title. By doing so, you're giving people the impression that BF can't be trusted, when they have proven to be one of the best companies out there to do business with. Not cool, dude.Exactly!! I've been researching and reading the Barefaced thread for probably a year before making the decision to invest. I've read about the amazing speedy delivery everyone else seems to of had the luxury of taking advantage of. I assumed I'd enjoy the same result. Alex's email emulated that sentiment. I assumed wrong.

While it may be cold comfort, back when i used FedEx exclusively for both incoming and outgoing shipments, i never lost a single thing or had any shipping damage. I had a few items misdireced that took a few days to sort out, but other than that i had great luck with them.
Enjoy the cabs!
