OooOooo, @rodl2005! That Mustang took me back a few decades to my brand new '71 I got in college. The one (sniff) that got away. Such a sweetie.

Should we revoke his number? What kind of ridiculous rule is that?!

How are you liking the Taylor Mini GS Bass?So I was in a music store in Springfield, Missouri this morning making an exchange and simply could not resist buying the used Rumble 15 at half-price. $50 for a perfect little practice amp. It will be great for giving my Taylor GS Mini-Bass just the little lift it needs to play along with unplugged acoustic guitar comfortably. Not too shabby with my Precision for the same purpose. It will never be used for a gig unless it is an unplugged acoustic show.
See, I told you he was my friend!!! BFF even
If I interpret my BFF, Fender Knowledge God, dial a frowny face on the graphic eq.
I'm not picking on Linnin, he does know a hell of a lot about Fender stuff! And I am happy to see my friend is feeling well enough to condemn me to Fender Hell for my blasphemous thoughts!
I am absolutely loving it. It is even much louder unplugged than you'd expect. Play sooooo easy! Plugged in, it sounds great. It will never take the place of my Precision, but it has its own place on stage. Great in an acoustic guitar setting. The price is right and it is a very usable instrument. For a grab and practice-at-home instrument, it is fantastic. I guess you can tell I like it a lot.How are you liking the Taylor Mini GS Bass?
HEY RUMBLERS!
Do you prefer your Rumble's dirt channel or do you prefer to get your dirt form a pedal?
Bonus points for 'why'.
subliminal message ... buy Rumble 500 head ... buy Rumble 500 head ... buy Rumble 500 head ...I did some testing of slaving my rumble 100 from its effects out into the effects in on the carvin. Sounds nice.

Maybe get a different stool? After getting the two cabs? Not anytime soon.
Besides, fender cabs, a Fender bass, fender stool AND a Fender head? I've gotta diversify

Don't forget Fender strings; Fender cable, and a Fender strap. An assortment of attractive & stylish Fender T-Shirts. Fenders on your cars too and Fender bumper stickers! After getting the two cabs? Not anytime soon.

You can always turn it down a little.I'm in the market for a light and portable combo so i took my bass to the store and tested both the Rumble 40 and 100.
I started out with the 40 and although i liked it, there was just something not right with the low notes (E, F, G) like the lows were kinda struggling to get out. The 100 did not have this issue, the low notes came out easy, tight and rich. Mind you, this was all knobs at noon on both amps. Overall i thought the 100 was sounding a little more full and even, while the 40 sounded more in your face. The same sound, but with a little harsh or brittle edge to it. I liked them both but the 100 felt like the winner. I would love the 100, but it is just a little too big for the small cafe acoustic sessions i need it for. So i'm still in doubt...
