GK 112-II NEO

Same here. I could not confirm the daisy chain capability. When I went out of my Ashdown Little Bastard like this it immediately started getting really hot. I never tried again. Since then, I sold the head. Anyone know if GK ever confirmed the daisy chain? Is it into speakon then out 1/4"?

Was just gonna ask the same question about the grill myself, Cheers Chef.
I got my cab yesterday, just in time for a small cafe type gig and I got lost in the Boom I'm afraid to say. To be fair it was a hollow wooden floor and I cussed myself for not taking my isolation pad with me. Jazz Bass with the tone open with the bass and low mids rolled of to 10 oclock on the head.
The cab sounds nice at home so I'm hoping I can replicate on the next outing.

No I don't...

Sometimes I do run a GK Neo 212 under, and the 112 on top, which is, more or less, similar, ohm total aside.
That's where you might buy yourself an issue; you'll be at 2.67, which many amps won't do.

I have it from GK themselves, and have done it myself with these very same cabs- yes, you can daisy chain.

Two ways:

1) Amp output to the cab's speakon input and throughput from the cab's 1/4" to the other cab(s)

2) Amp output to the cab's 1/4" input and throughput from the cab's speakon jack to the other cab(s)


I have daisy-chained four of these speakers in this manner. A Mesa 400+ through four of these cabs stacked four high sounds rather nice.

This makes for a good rig that can fill a bar room nicely.

The Walter Woods Ultra only has 1/4" tr output jacks, so I used 1/4" male to speakon cable from the amp to the first cab, and then another 1/4" male to speakon to daisy-chain the first cab to the second for a 4-ohm load. Nice light rig.

I have a lot of gear. I mean...a lot.
More than I intended to have, after The Great Selldown, where I got down to basically one set of speeks, and three heads.

I been messing around with different stuff the last few days, and:
The MBFusion and 2x112 give up nothing, to anyone.

(except I do like the TC speeks better for DB)
