Hopefully you're not learning the songs off cheap cassette tapes poorly recorded by your guitarist when he was quite likely stoned. Play...rewind...play...rewind...play...oops, missed it...rewind...ad nauseum. Oh, sorry--wrong century.

Nnnnooooooo. Technology is a wonderful thing.

My bigger problem is that I have a hard time due to 30+ years of loud playing where I have some pitch trouble down low. I end up pinpointing keys, chords and lines up an octave then move them down where they belong. I also play 'brighter' when I practice than where I do when I play live. I don't have a feel yet for if I need to nail down the material note-for-note (I hope not) or if I have leeway to nail the groove and feel and do my own thing with it, or somewhere in between.

The gig is kind of neat though. We're doing the annual St. Lucia roots festival. They fly us down, do full hospitality, we play a set, then the next day we come home. I'll be working with the drummer & guitarist in my band for it. We'll rehearse here, then hit NYC for a full band rehearsal before the flydown.

You too? But you're a young whip! When you reach my age, you'll find that balancing a hearing trumpet while practicing is the most difficult part. That and getting your bass tangled in your walker.

I’ve mastered stacking cabs with a walker. I do have to put my hearing trumpet down though.
If I leave it in front of the guitarist’s Twin Reverb he will use it because he thinks he’s not loud enough.

The IP112 is able to power an 8ohm extension

I don’t know. My guess is that it’s a 4 ohm cab and the amp is maxed out but maybe get hold of a manual.

No. It’s working at its max. Besides you need more? Dude an IP310 outside with no bandshell is as loud as two G3s and clearer.

Missed picking up an IP310 locally last year and regret no jumping on it. They are a bit rare on the other side of the puddle but would of been ideal for the Church rig.

Oh dear I didn't want to see that. But with the exchange rate, GST and freight costs it's just too expensive.

No. The IP112 has a jack for an extension cabinet, and the IP322 does not. Actually, the only IP cab other than the IP112 that I am aware of that came with an extension jack is the IP153.
