These play way above their price point. Such great value in an inexpensive bass. I love the colour on this one.
They sure do. The 4 times as expensive American model is only about 1.5 times better.

You might not have bought it for it's looks, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a beautiful bass!
EDIT: And I also just noticed that your guitar player's instrument looks kind of intersting. What is it?
Cool. I don’t think I ever saw a Variax that wasn’t black, although that’s relying on my hazy memories of mostly pictures. I’ve only seen one played live - by Steve Howe many years ago when he did a solo tour (just him on guitar).Yes, appearance is a bonus.Walt's playing a Line 6 Variax. He's got a very nice telecaster, too.
I'm about 44 in that photo. 46 now....That's a mighty tidy-looking 38 year old!![]()
That’s a nice jazz bass that aged very well……..But it depends on what day, time, or mood I'm in. These are pretty good too.

Goodness, Lakland is kicking the b… of the big F with these wonderful instruments, unbelievable.I didn't buy it for its looks (well...except I'm a sucker for a maple neck).

This one, at the moment. But it changes often.

Wisebass, that is almost exactly what I had in mind for a Sandberg! Yours is a Basic lined fretless...mine would be a Classic but with the single humbucker in the Basic position, and lined fretless as well.
1a looks fantastic. I had one of the first year Skyline HB with Barts. Loved the ergonomics of the bass,Here's my #1 and #1a:

I’m sure the Darkstar/Guild pickups in yours provide that in spades!
Does it also have active/3 band eq?
