Yes, appearance is a bonus. Walt's playing a Line 6 Variax. He's got a very nice telecaster, too.

Cool. I don’t think I ever saw a Variax that wasn’t black, although that’s relying on my hazy memories of mostly pictures. I’ve only seen one played live - by Steve Howe many years ago when he did a solo tour (just him on guitar).

Wisebass, that is almost exactly what I had in mind for a Sandberg! Yours is a Basic lined fretless...mine would be a Classic but with the single humbucker in the Basic position, and lined fretless as well.

I like the classic bodies too! They were called bullet before Sandberg started Fender shaped objects

I love Holger's designs

and of course the necks are amazing

go for it!

1a looks fantastic. I had one of the first year Skyline HB with Barts. Loved the ergonomics of the bass,
but always wanted more character from the pickups.
I’m sure the Darkstar/Guild pickups in yours provide that in spades!

Naw, I'm happy to live the passive life...

I actually only got this one a couple of weeks ago. Took it onstage last weekend for the first time, and I'm in love.
