Is there not an attenuator on the cn112? Easy enough to turn one off, unless I'm missing something?

Yes my friend, you are missing something. It's called early morning West Coast humor. As in...I'm not a tweeter-hater. I just play one on Talkbass. :)

Some people just don't dig on tweeters so much;)

Actually, I'm OK with tweeters. Three of my four cabs have them. I just don't like too much of a good thing. For the record, I was being serious about the 'one tweeter per rig rule', but my CN212 tweet is set at 12 noon.

CN212 update... I still don't have it!

Ordered from Bass Club Chicago quite a while ago, and it sounds like there was some hold up on the shipping end... they thought they had one in stock, but didn't, so it was down to Bergantino to ship it, and that was delayed. Quite a mess.

After contacting Bass Club Chicago, they have been very friendly and helpful, and sounds like they are doing everything in their power to make the situation right.

So I'll just keep waiting. I've got a busy June, so hopefully my CN212 will be here in time for that.

I believe Rocket Music posted that the next production run of the CN's would be in mid to late May, so it should be coming soon! Worth the wait. Shame on the dealer for not having their game in order though.

Just got a pair of CN112s, one from Bass Club Chicago and one from Rocket. Sound great and the 28lbs really makes a difference for my aching back. Tried a TH500 (surprisingly not as good as my old standby LMII), also going to try a TC RH450.

Not that surprising. Very different sounding heads. I like them both. the RH450, not so much at this point. If you liked the LMII better than the TH500, IMO you will hate the RH450 (compressed compared to the LMII, and more dark and mid middy than the TH500, which has become my favorite head... if you spend the time to understand the highly interactive and relatively complex/powerful EQ).

LMII/CN112 x 2..... smokin' for an even, clean, warm tone! Excellent!

I got mine from Rocket Music last week. They had it to me in just a couple of days.

Greg (TBer) at Rocket is absolutely fantastic and TOTALLY takes care of business. Since the price is the same on the Berg stuff from any dealer (even shipping is held constant), I always choose Rocket. Nice to support a fellow TBer, and the service and attention to detail is fantastic.

I absolutely agree. I bought the CN212 after Greg was a tremendous help when I was ordering a Mike Lull V4.
