NHL Season 2022-23

Actually,
The Wings are already fun!
I know many doubt Stevie, or don't have the patience for his building process, but this season was entertaining and shows a group with promise.
Sorry Penguins
PS I'm still a little salty about the Bertuzzi trade, but he is doing well with Boston on my second favorite team so I'll be happy if he can make a good run for the cup with them this year.

Last night's game was exactly what us Pens fans have been shaking our heads about all season. Our backs up against the wall, playing a team out of the race, a game you really need to win...and they stink up the joint. I didn't watch the game, so I can't say whether the goaltending was terrible or the defense in front of him was, but no doubt the current goalie situation is the worst of any (potential) playoff teams by far.

Did you want Matt Murray back?

Yep. I caught the last half of the game. Typical Pens. D was soft, goaltending below average. Not all Casey's fault but those were soft goals.

Jarry played like he is capable of (finally). Pens get a much-needed win against Nashville, staying ahead of the Cats.

He'll need a similar performance this weekend against Boston, who have showed very few weaknesses and have been amazingly consistent throughout the entire season.

Cats are doing well with "The Unknown Goalie":bag:.

Looks like it's going to go to the wire between Pittsburgh and Florida for that last wild card slot in the East. whoever scores the last goal of the season might be the one who's in. Five games left for both.

Both have the same amount of regulation wins but Pens have a 2-1 advantage of head-to-head. The H2H is the tiebreaker if they get to that point (tied on points, wins, regulation wins).
