Has anyone tried to emulate a Seamoon Funk Machine on the Spectrum? I just saw a clip of a new version, and liked it! I will give it a shot, but help is welcome.

That's a pretty great filter sound, for sure! If you don't get to it first, I'll see if I can take a crack at it this weekend.
If you get a chance before I can get to it:
I'd probably start by maxing the master depth (which I usually do, and then dial back if necessary), select the 4-pole filter, and I'd probably start with the Snappy envelope with a fairly quick speed. He's got a fairly dark sound with a higher resonance, so some guestimate settings that might get you in the general vicinity: filter depth at 254, a frequency somewhere around 60-70, and a Q maybe around 75.

@Johno Dunn Also, it sounds like the +1 octave in the Spectrum is a synth-generated octave up, rather than a digitally shifted sound like the POG2 does. So, it's "Not Quite Sylva," but it'll do in a mix...?
Yes just noticed that too when trying to do an octave up only sound. A digitally shifted octave up sound sounds much better to me than the synthy octave up that the Spectrum has. Maybe Source Audio can implement a digital octave up on the Spectrum as well?
@BobaMosfett: That Seamoon sound is really cool! Hope someone can recreate that on the Spectrum! Is that pedal up for sale somewhere?

Try the polyphonic octave up. Or, the octave distortion. The POG octave up sound is not quite in Spectrum.

Check the Cloud. I have uploaded three slightly different versions of the Seamoon. It's not quite there yet I think but it's close. Maybe someone else can try to improve it? That will save a few bucks for some people.

An interesting point, might be cool to compare notes. Sounds like you guys have this particular patch well under control, but now I think my curiosity has the better of me... Maybe I'll take a shot at it this weekend anyway, before I check out either of your patches for it.

My filter and envelope settings are identical to yours; jus a little higher Q. So it's really no use.
I was comparing to the video I posted, and 'Sponge' by the Brecker Brothers. I'm still curious how the real pedal compares, of course.

Got a patch put together for the Seamoon sound... Called "Seamoon's Funk" on the Neuro. Pretty cool sound, another win on the Spectrum. Checking out the Brecker's Heavy Metal Be-Bop also added to the list!
As always, you'll need to adjust input gain and sensitivity to your personal gear/play style.
@Les Fret I'll check out your presets for it a.s.a.p. Wanted to stay unbiased when I made mine!
