The Ravish Sitar pedal wasn't designed for bass, but it works fine for it.

Thank you. I have always hoped that running it after distortion would make her sound really angry. Is that the case?
No. Just plain doesn't work after distortion. Has to be first in the chain, basically. She can't recognize the pitch if you put distortion first.

As a consolation, I did have fuzz, delay, and reverb on later in the chain, as well, so that sounded pretty gnarly.
Dang. Well, there goes my hopes of a low-pitched, angry, fuzzed out Japanese pop star belting it out from my rig. My first thought when seeing that pedal was to run Octave Down>Fuzz>Miku and hope for angry Japanese madness. It appears that won't work, unfortunately.
How about after? Or does the Miku screw up distortion too?
As I mentioned, I had it running into fuzz. Sounds bizarre but fun.
You definitely would want to put the octave after the Miku as well. The tracking for low notes is... not good.
The first time I heard Danse Macabre by Celtic Frost I didn't know how to process it. It was 1987. I can't beleive that album came out in 1984.
Finished practicing for tonight - I've been getting ready for a Halloween cover set. I'm a 4 stringer at heart but I've been playing this all night. Fun, but dialing in some technical parts have left me with a sore fretting hand lol.
