Pics or it didn't happen.I work in a strip club. We got those clear poles that look like Plexiglas or something. I just watched one snap and the girl hit the floor. She is one of our smaller girls too. I wasn't even playing doom.
First pole I have seen break in 24 years of doing this.

(Hope she didn't get hurt.)
J-pop is shaging weird.I just do not "get it" when I see this. Is it me? Am I just to old, or does the Japanese taste in music confuse anyone else as well?
A proper mudbucker is usually about 30k or so, right?Joe what's the output of the mudbucker? And I'd just use all 500k audio taper pots.
Could also maybe wire a switch in with a cap to cut boomy lows when you want.
Your getting me itchy to try the
EB-0 again before I sell it. 32k mudbucker into the dually should alert my house neighbors I have arrived.
Yeah, I think a BDDI would be tough for me to use. I have a VT Bass pedal. I like that better. It's been serving sort of as my backup.Yes... But with the BDDI thats not easy. This is why I'm hopeful the VT-RM will help. Plus running two cabs will help with the dispersion.
I use a .130 gauge low B, though I use a .100 gauge E. Seems to work. Using XLs.Understood....I'm going to try first with the new power amp rig and then decide if I need to bump up in guage. May just go back to .130 and have these in stock.
Psh, no way. 1515/66 at least. Or a Dually. Or two. Dual Duallies. In accordance with TB doctrine: you need a fEARFUL 12/6.
.145 sounds like a bridge cable, lol. Maybe if I tuned to Ab or something.Just catching up after a super busy couple of days at work, so many things have been talked about I am interested in! I'm on the app so can't be bothered to quote but touching on a few things people have said...
I've decided to go BEAD with the T-40, going to get it done professionally this time though. I use that .145 string mentioned on my Squier and it's great but opting for power slinkys this time. We shall see if they hold up!
I'm also using a rat (tail) for fast and low riffs, best I've found for that so far!
My DiMarzio model Js also make my bluebeard crap out at full volume
Just got the VT bass DI yesterday, not had much time to play with it but sounds good instantly, not a huge "wow" from it but I appreciate it sounds good so that probably has more lasting value.
Ordered a polytune mini noir too, should make things on the nano sit a bit better, hopefully get it tomorrow!
Phew.
Tampons? Psh. You must do a lot of swimming, or wear a lot of thongs. Pads are where it's at, clearly.you could use a micro head for sure.
you could also wear tampons too.
anything is possible.
Hit it with a boost? What I'm saying is the S was all about clean. Never really able to get any OD grit tones out of it. This was before I messed with dirt pedals so I flipped it since the band I was in dissolved.
I usually play between the pickup and the neck (or between the two pickups, on my Rickenbacker), or between the pickup and the bridge.Damn you guys play far back, over the fretboard or as far back as the P position that's it.
Surprise porn. I hope the new owners are some old couple. What did my uncle have me blowing up at his birthday?
lol my friend drove me to the meeting place because he wanted to eat nearby. He's about to sell his car so I just hid the porn in his car for the new owner.
I usually take immodium before going to bed if I've done a lot of drinking, especially if whatever I ate was... well... not the kind of thing to come out without unpleasantness.Man I woke up to vicious beer and fried chicken based diarrhea, then walked fast as I could in a 40 pound weight vest for four miles and sweated a bucket full in the 90 degree heat. I feel light as a feather now.
I want this shirt. I have no money, currently, though, so can't assist.Group by?

Damn, that's poopy. Poor lass.I work in a strip club. We got those clear poles that look like Plexiglas or something. I just watched one snap and the girl hit the floor. She is one of our smaller girls too. I wasn't even playing doom.

Awesome. Did the dancer get decent sympathy tips?![]()
Now we have a stage with a spike of DOOM on it. I have been keeping the girls off of it so we don't have any casualties.
Yeah I've seen some pretty good falls from broken heels/clumsy ass/etc. Seems like the guys feel sorry and start tipping harder.Oh yeah. I've been calling her Faith the Destroyer ever since it happened. She is making money and smiling again so all is good.
Also, electronics question:
What makes a volume pot a volume pot, and a tone pot a tone pot? What's different in them that the volume pot can be used to take the entire signal down, but the tone pot turns down only the high frequencies?
Also, is it possible to get a pedal built that's the same as my Big Muff Pi, but with the tone knob able to be toggled in and out of the circuit?

Everybody wants to be "the one" to cheer her up.

I'm the one ****ing up the picture by wearing sunglasses:

I modded my RickenPeavey. I routed out the pickup cavity for the Rickenbacker pickup, and slapped a new bridge onto it (the ground wire is just smooshed between the bridge and the body), as well as cutting down the pickguard so it only covered (part) of the control cavity.Tone pot has a capacitor across it so it cuts a certain frequency. Though all pots are born the same... Except schwag... The behringer of bud.
I thought you built your rickenpeavey? I have two 30ish k output mudbuckers, ones currently in my epi EB-0 other on a shelf, I really want to have them both in one bass as well. I'd just need to keep the EB-0 or find a new host bass and get to routing some serious wood.
I'd mod that existing big muff for a tone cut switch before I paid someone good money to build an entirely new pedal to get that switch option. There's a big muff with tonal bypass and wicker out there, maybe that's on the new bass models as well.
What's standard on basses, if there is one? Linear or logarithmic? You can get different kind of pots (linear and logarithmic) but either can be used for volume or tone. The difference is how they are wired and that there is a capacitor connected to the tone which determines the effected frequencies. I think...
As for the muff, I would expect that is possible, my bluebeard is one of the later models with this mod. Pretty beastly, kind of wish it was on a footswitch!
I know, right? I hate that guy. He's the jerkiest. And his band sucks. What a jerk.
Saw this on Facebook, Brown Sabbath, Sabbath done funk style it says.

The problem with my fuzz pedal is that I find it pretty much only usable if I'm using my wah pedal at the same time. Otherwise it just gets lost in the mix. I'm thinking a toggle switch would allow me to make it useful in the mix by cutting out the tone part, while being able to toggle to the regular muff sound for the wah section of All is Sorrow.
