I really need to sell at least a couple of mine, I have way to many. It's sort of hard to pass up on something you like when it's priced like 85% off.

I was planning on flipping that Ibanez I picked up but I wound up liking it too much. Now I'm thinking maybe I really should flip it so I can get something else. It never ends.

I've actually never sold a guitar/bass online. I've usually been lucky enough to find someone looking for one locally and selling it that way. I've even pawned one and still made a profit, although not much of one.

I keep finding instruments dirt cheap, fix them up as sort of a hobby and flip them. Usually guitars, because I like working on them but can't really play them.

The Los Angeles\SFV\AV CL is a joke. It is nothing but left over garbage. I have trouble selling stuff on CL because so many of the buyers just try to low ball you and don't want to pay regular prices for good gear. It can take me months to sell things.

When I first started lurking here I was a little bit amazed that people ship basses, and even cabs. It just seems like such an incredible hassle (maybe that just goes to show how lazy I am). I shipped one pair of tower speakers (through a different forum) and swore to never do it again.

I've sold lots of paintball stuff online, but never any music gear besides pedals. Those are easy to buy and flip.

Wait, a long time ago I shipped a 2x10 bassman combo. Looking back I kinda liked that amp, I just had no idea what I was doing. I just used UPS and the guy covered most of the cost. I just dropped it off with the address and paid them to pack and ship.

Bought and sold more crap online than I'd like to admit. I've gotten pretty good at it, but every now and then there's usually a problem with UPS/FedEx/post office shipping issues. Had a few problems with sketchy sellers, but most of the time it's all been good.

Shipping prices have gotten reeeediculous over the years, sometimes I'll flip something and not get the shipping quote right and I end up losing a couple of bucks.

But damn if it isn't relatively easy to find stuff and have it show up from distant lands, relatively quickly.... finding a deal or something rare is what drives me now, but I'm at the point where I need to stop aquiring stuff.

The bass player for Yatra had a great tone with minimal effects. It looked like she was playing a Fender Jazz with MM pickups...has anyone seen a Jazz like that?

Did you catch Wovenhand? I'd have attended just for that set.

Will keep an eye out for this fest in the future.

Yeah, then saw Wovenhand open for Om in Denver that Sunday. I'm not really into Wovenhand, but of the three times I've seen them that Sunday show was the best. Watching the drummer up close was a real treat. Also that Denver show was the best Om show I saw of the six times I saw them this year. The drummer said it was the best show they'd played in years. About halfway through the set Al was so into it that he picked up the mic stand and moved it so he could be facing the other guys in the band more instead of just the audience.
