Oh the bridge within the cone is a thin piece of rosewood, and it'd require me carving it up for bigger strings. Also I'm going for high action and tension for slide.

I've been wanting to goof around on a resonator, harmonica, wooden flute, sitar, and various other Japanese/European folk instruments this past year or two. I used to screw around with didgeridoo when I was a kid. Probably why I have a certain unobtainable distortion in mind for bass... haha. Creamy squares.


Wiener jokes and farts. I still laugh in the bathroom when I have a good echo-y bowl fart. Actually I probably laugh at about 80% of the sounds my a$$ makes. This could also attribute to the distortion thing.

Okay the old 70s BW that was originally in the folded that I blew up is a 4 ohm. Can I recone it to be an 8ohm? If it can be repaired at all that is...

Max, regarding your cable: No one makes an extender. But, you can buy the parts pretty cheap. The first two connectors on this page:

(one male, one female) plus some 3-conductor wire would be all it would take.

If you want I can get the parts and put one together for you. You'd just need to reimburse me for the parts + shipping. I can get the cable for next to nothing at work, so the whole thing probably wouldn't cost more than 5-10 bucks. I could ship the finished cable to you or we could arrange a time/place to meet up.

EDIT - Wire would be about 85-90 cents a foot, so it might end up being more like 15-20 bucks altogether.

If I made it, I might end up death, hurt and/or have a shvtty cord and I'd be glad to pay for it, I've been wanting to make a short one nighter trip out to Madtown. A 15 footer should be more than enough, I'd rather have it too long than not long enough.

If you have decent health insurance, just go to an ENT doctor. Cost will probably be around your specialist copay + $100-$150. Can always call and ask in advance so you're not surprised when you get the bill.

My filters are the same color, but my right plug has a built in little red circle on it while the left one doesn't, so I know which is which. Sometimes when I'm too drunk I put them in the wrong holes, and it hurts. That's what she said.

yeah mine have tiny little red and blue dots on them, but they are impossible to see in the dark.

unreasonable, like ampegfuzz said those are the cheapest crappiest parts in it. i don't know about the body though. i'd do it up with double humbuckers and tune that bitch to G for fun.

used the dark driving at home during the afternoon break, it made the mesa sound warmer and rounder like it was moving a ton of air in my living room through the orange 115s, hopefully i can round up another adapter so i can stack it with the rat tail soon

Alright cool, I'll get the parts on order soon and keep you posted. If you could take a picture of the connectors on the cable and on the amp and send them to me that would help me make sure i get the right parts.

Also, if there's a part number on your blown bw send me that and I'll see if i can track down a replacement basket.
