Now to sell something.... The '06 maybe--after I really love playing it... White VP? Decisions. The '06 would come close to paying for the NR.

We've all done this sort of thing - predictable results. Stay strong!

Every bass I own cost about $500.00 (or less ) and they all look the same to her, as long as I can sneak it in the house I'm home free.
I just told mine I bought “parts”…

There will be a lot of opportunities to get another VP. But that ‘06 is part of you now. Should be an easy decision.
I would still have the burst VP. I wouldn't make much on the white one and Miles has first dibs on it. I thought about listing my '71 Jazz. It's near mint and a custom color (black). First year for blocks I believe. I'm the third owner. A young guy ordered it from Fender when working at a music store and never really used it. Finally was talked into selling it in 1980 to a guy who never gigged it, just jammed occasionally with friends.

First year for blocks was 1966.........sorry........, the reason I know that is because I had a '66 J neck on a P bass.. Looks like it's in great shape.

Wow, that even has the original neck strap. I wouldn't sell that.

that should sell for enough to pay off the NR, and have a chunk left over… maybe not enough to get a second NR, but a chunk…
