New NR question: Will I need to plan on moving the strap button to the back of the neck area, or does it work just fine as is?
I moved mine on all my birds and axeploders but I also prefer treble geetars with a heel button too.

I only recall playing one bass with just a bridge p/u. I hated it.
I love KISS, their early stuff especially - I was already playing bass when I first saw them - Gene only made me want to play more! I only saw them once, in '75 and RUSH opened the show.
I love their 60s stuff. I wasn't a big fan of disco in general, but they still had the chops, for sure.
They were pretty good live with with that stuff. When this tune came out I didn't yet know that we were supposed to hate disco.I never really hated it, just more of a general ignoring most of it although I listen to it today when it comes on and they had some very good musicians playing it, great rhythm sections.
do the 21’s come with three buttons? my 13 did…I've played mine more sitting than standing up to this point, but found it fine stock - I have several three pinned Birds tho.
Some of these professional enablers here (and you know who you are), finally got me to bite. It was exactly the color I was looking for. It's new from a shop that seems to have bought out a store that was a Gibson dealer/seller. I liked that they moved the pots to being inline. Owner is a Thunderbird fan and thought it looked weird the way Gibson had them.

A Sting operation…Just make sure it isn’t a sting operation.

I think this has a little help though.
A Sting operation…
Would that be The Police?
…didn’t realize he was a thumber
They were "big in Japan"... but seriously, they sounded really good on that reunion tour.![]()
I love Jive Talking. But just for the record Barry contends that they never did Disco. They were doing R n B.I love their 60s stuff. I wasn't a big fan of disco in general, but they still had the chops, for sure.
Only on tour or maybe for some recording. Cliffs predecessor Mark Evans turned into a mostly T’bird player though. He is in Rose Tattoo now.would imagine William's NR II had to at some point?...
74-75 was the time to see them they were white hot. I saw them in 75 and it was easily one of the best concerts I ever witnessed almost as life changing as The Beatles on Sullivan. Whether you are a fan of Simmons or not his new siggy Thunderbird is a very nice bass even with the black plastic pickupsI love KISS, their early stuff especially - I was already playing bass when I first saw them - Gene only made me want to play more! Why do you want Sting there? He is going to play his beat up old P and do jazz versions of the Police's greatest hits.Just make sure it isn’t a sting operation.
I haven’t had the need to move mine or add another one. Though I’m using the now discontinued Gibson Slingshot strap which works great with it. Maybe we need to petition Gibson to bring that back (like that’ll work).I've played mine more sitting than standing up to this point, but found it fine stock - I have several three pinned Birds tho.
OK. Unless licensed.Only if legally connected, like All-Parts' Fender authorized necks.
No. My ‘13 doesn’t have three either.do the 21’s come with three buttons? my 13 did…
Thanks!I've played mine more sitting than standing up to this point, but found it fine stock - I have several three pinned Birds tho.
