Thunderbird Club

I recall in either the 80s or 90s, there was brief interest in Aussie Rules Football here. And then everyone figured out that Foster's beer wasn't that good, Paul Hogan wasn't really funny, and that energizer battery guy* was just kind of annoying and like that, the great interest in all things Aussie was gone. **

** Yahoo Serious with his film Young Einstein in which he splits an Australian beer atom barely made a dent.
Works for me, I can’t stand AFL, Fosters or Jacko. Hoges was good but peaking in Croc Dundee 1.
Yahoo Serious “Young Einstein” was amusing at first watch if only for some guests and a good soundtrack. Doesn’t survive a second viewing.

Sweet! What do you think of it?
Just put it away. Really digging it so far. Balances a bit better than my Reverse Thunderbird.
The NR neck is thicker than the Reverse too. Feels more like my Spector or Precision neck...which I really like. The fretwork is great and the neck plays awesome. Does anyone know the radius?
The chrome pickups sound great..a little more alive than my Reverse.
Sounds great. Enjoying the sound through my rig.
I’m using the Gibson strap that it came with, maxing out the length, I need a few more inches, so I’ll be orderly a strap and straplocks. Despite that, like I said it balances great and I’m very happy with it so far,

Nice to read! I think it's the best bass Gibson's done in quite some time.

So what are the odds? According to FedMess my equipment is just outside Bakersfield. They seem to be working about 12 hour shifts before parking for the night. Anyone want to guess if they take Easter Sunday off? If so, they aren't making a Monday delivery in the Bay Area...at least not to me.
Sounds like it’ll hit the sorting facility near you on Monday then go out for delivery on Tuesday.

Edit: @Chucky Stiletti I should add at the end of the school career, most schools have what is called a “Formal”.

Dress up like a wedding, dinner and drinks (well in my day drinks were served) and dance. You would be expected to bring a partner and parents could also buy tickets to attend to the “dinner dance”. In my daughters school they had banned bringing partners and drinking by the time she got through.
My daughter went to an all girl Catholic school, so it was a Father Daughter dance (well, it was Kentucky, so there’s that twist).

Look what I picked up this week!!! Finally got a chance to tweak and play it!!!View attachment 4661987
Awesome, looks fantastic and I’m sure it plays equally well.

And there's a Baptist church with that name! (dying)
The community was named over 50 years before that term gained it slang meaning.
All assuming you're referring to the animal name...
That be the one! Imagine the double take I did the first time I drove down that road and saw the Baptist Church sign. I could hardly control my laughter, and then I spotted the sign for Big Bone Lick State Park. Darn near had to pull the car over I was laughing so hard.

Yes, Gibson did good with this Bass!
I would have to thank you and Godofthunder for your video reviews in helping me decide to get one!

Only too happy to (enable) help out with the purchase of a new Thunderbird!
