I thought those were 2008 +/- TBPlus, but could be mistaken.

That's too bad if so. I had the 2001 TB+ installed in the black 2018 Thunderbird and they're basically a lost cause. They sound really good, but they're humming constantly and basically acting as single coils. The luthier took one out, turned it upside down, and the humming stopped. Back to stock for that one and not sure what I can do with the 2001 pickups. That 2018 is a good test bed for stuff because it's a lemon in so many ways.

I'm with the Dude. Hate is too strong a word, but I got completely sick of the Eagles in the '70s.

I liked the James Gang, played Funk 49 in my high school combo... but never an Eagles fan.

Eagles were OK. We played James Dean, Hotel California, and I’m sure a couple others. We were SoCal so that has something to do with it. I have charts that I’ve collected for most of the popular songs, but haven’t worked on any of them. I guess that shows where I rank them. The James Gang’s Walk Away has always been a favorite.

I like the red, regardless which one it is. Looks great.

Once cleaned and assembled, I started to like the color; going to assume it's Torino Red.

Fun fact about Chef. He co-authored the manuals for the Mesa series of Subway amps. And he was instrumental in some of the features included in the WD 800, the TT 800 and the new D 350.

The Eagles had a lot of great songs, that unfortunately got overplayed on the radio. There’s one that didn’t get as much air time so it’s probably my favorite Eagles tune, nice and laid back…

Crazy me. When I was doing annual maintenance on the basses that are here at the house in the burbs last week, I missed this one. I thought I took it to the other place. Anyway, it needs an 1/8th to a 1/4 turn to tighten the TR. I can’t find a crack pipe wrench here so it’ll need have to wait.

Does a cast count in lieu of boots?

Thanks for asking. It seems to be healing, but hurts unless I’m completely still. I stopped the Narcos earlier than doc said to, hate that stuff. I’m nauseous. It’s probably the gabapentin so am doing a trial starting today of only taking it at night. Hopefully that will help.

I mentioned Miles re that bird, but after doing that I saw where Lakeview is and there’s no way he should go that far to check it out. And yeah, you all have studied it a lot closer than I did. It is noticeable is that asking prices seem to be inching down some.

Lakeway is just across town.
