Wow, I have never seen a split-P pickup placed that close to the bridge. Looks like about the MusicMan pickup location. Probably sounds like a mix between a P-bass and a MusicMan, I would think, but probably needs a bass boost. The mahogany (I think?) body should help. Cool bass!

If there's no potential for sudden, catastrophic injury, it's just not that much fun. It's why I ride motorcycles and don't bother with golf.

After dumping my bike 3 times, seemed to me that i was on the verge of sudden, catastrophic injury.
That was back in L.A.

Had not got on motorcycles anymore.
And i do miss riding.

I used to road race 'em. Nothing like going around a corner and wondering where the bike went. I threw it halfway up an embankment once after dodging a slower rider and losing my concentration, and decided to take up knitting instead. But then, knitting has needles, and those sound pretty dangerous, too. So I stuck to motorcycles. I crash pretty well so far, fortunately. It seems like you get about ten years per get-off on the street. I have had about five of them, so I'm good to go for a long time.

On a different note, regarding the Nikki Sixx signature bass. I definitely hated the sound so I tried a few different things. Several pick up changes later I settled on a fender P a and Duncan hot STK J2b. Sound way better and has bass now, imagine that. I still think DiMarzio model pj would be great or possibly Duncan spb3s being they're so bassy. This is a solid maple neckthru so bright as hell much like a Spector. Could not get why emgs didn't work for this bass but they definitely don't.
Next was the terrible neck dive. Why anyone would put the strap button on the horn area is beyond me. Today I moved it to the heel, zero dive now.
I've come to like this bass, too bad I have to sell it to cover the gibson I bought. Not too many Leftys around so it'll probably sit in the case for a long time.

It's a Dimarzio with a S/P switch. Makes Precision like noise with adequate bass output...maybe it's the 1/8" thick brass, including bridge, and almost completely neck through construction that's responsible for that.

I love to ride but try really hard not to crash. I'd be more like the slow rider you had to avoid. My bikes are on the slow side.

I can dig that. But I'm not jumping out of an airplane dragging someone out with me... who doesn't want to go...
No point in dragging along unwilling participants. I haven't jumped out of an airplane yet. I'm pretty sure it would be a sphincter tightening experience, especially because I'm not big on heights. So, I probably have to do it one of these days. A little sheer terror is good for the soul.

It's completely different than you'd think. Freaky as hell standing in the open door (or out on the wing) of the plane, but once you're out, freefall is amazing. Heights don't really come into play because you have no point of reference that high.

The beauty of the flamethrower, it's adjustable. The flame only need be 4-6' to get the effect not 30'! Although considering things like fire Marshall, LAWS, fines o may need to rethink this. Wonder if I can do fake fire like our geisers?
Consider going with the "Smokin hot bass" option in the clip I posted above (#28888). Looked cool with the built in strobes and wouldn't require bribing the local Fire Marshall.

I love skydiving, too, but it's been at least 10 years since my last jump. The jumps I made were from a Cessna 185 so you just sorta dropped from the wing strut. It was a rush!

Tried to upload the video but it doesn't accept mp4 files.

Will Smith does a pretty good short talk about jumping from an airplane.
And just fwiw, I'm not implying anyone would drag another into a nerve-wracking situation! Lol, well, not a harmful one anyway! (I speak for myself there!...)

Well, skydiving, and big roller coasters, are the thing to give me vertigo just thinking about.
