Better on headphones- dig the bass sound! That's Thnderbird. Well played.

Only one thing, if I may... drummer's time feel is a good bit forward in the beat, and the guitarist's is more laid-back. It's noticeable in the transition between the guitar's quieter passage and the kicking-in of the ensemble. But, it's a nice piece.

Went to the L&M near my college after class yesterday, they had TWO used Traynor YBA200's. I only looked at the one for a couple seconds, it was $450ish but pretty sure it had KT88's. The other one was more of a rental, but available for purchase I believe, don't know the price or tubes.

The YBA200 comes with 6550s stock -- it has the winged logo. The YBA200-2 comes with KT88s and has the text logo. My YBA200 was made in 2004.

I knew it was the YBA200-2 that came stock with KT88's, but this one didn't say YBA200-2, just YBA200 and I'm fairly sure it had the winged logo. They could have been aftermarket 6550's, from a quick google search some of them do have that wider glass section that KT88's have (if that makes sense) Also it seems like 6550's and KT88's are fairly interchangeable.

As far as a three pickup 'Bird, I was thinking about putting a Dimarzio One in the neck position of the bolt-on 'Bird. Not the 'Bird neck position, but the EB-2 neck position, so there would be three pickups. All wired VVV, no T circuit at all. It may happen one of these days. I have the 'Bird and the pickup. It's in the project que somewhere.

Question - I had read very many times about how poor the 3 point bridge was on our birds and somewhat experienced it myself when installing heavy duty 65-120 gauge strings but before I committed to a bridge swap I swapped the neck out for a fender neck and the sustain lasts sooooooo much longer now. Was it the nut that in fact had such poor sustainability?. Im thinking so. My new EB 3 now has the same 65-120 strings and even with the nut being cut to house them I have the same brutal sustain I had with the bird before the neck swap. I cant get a Fender nut to fit the EB 3 because the Fender doesnt make a nut that size from my research. So.....what is an exceptional direct replacement nut for my EB 3 ?. @Count Bassie , are you feeling this?.

Not enough to compare with yet. Also my EB-3 has flats, may be part of the lack of sustain I'm now consideribg... I will look after it though.
