I think Convoy and Disco Duck came out in the late 70's so they should be on the worst of the 70's list.

I've been certified Smashville's Worst Bassist for 3 years running and I've played out in Music City. Bassists are hard enough to find that if you wanna do it, you'll find a gig...unless you wanna be a jazz cat or do Zappa covers. Then it'll help to be a virtuoso player.Always here to enable.

I know I’ll never be good enough to play out since I started too late in life but I have fun in my music room and sometimes I get to play music with my kids which to me is the best. They have really gotten pretty good and have left me in their dust but it makes me proud.
Oh ... it's a list of EIGHTIES songs ... oh, err, ummmm.
I call it "Trash Rock". The guitarist calls it "Gutter Glam". The only way to explain it is if you mix Bowie/Stardust/Mick Ronson, early 70's Stones, Faces when Rod Stewart was still cool, NY Dolls/Johnny Thunders, and various early punk, that would be it. Blues based, gritty guitars, aggressive, sleazy feeling music. We will start working with a drummer and singer/guitarist next week so things are kind of coming together.
Sorry but I liked "Cars" and some other Gary Numan songs. Not for everyone but I like some of his work.
Yeah, realised my heinous error too late. They could definitely go on the all time worst list.
And for anyone that isn't familiar with Mick Ronson aka Ronno, do yourself a favor and investigate. Tons of footage with Bowie and others on YouTube.

Several years ago, when I was looking for an EUB, travel bass. The Eminence, had just been released and I liked the detachable/take down feature of the neck. But they hadn't established a track record being so new, and they were (and remain) a pricey proposition. So I turned my attention towards the BSX Allegro, and it offered the same features ie: detachable neck, semi-hollow construction, on-board electronics etc: -and- it was half the price of the Eminence, and BSX had a good established track record. So I pulled the trigger on the BSX Allegro, and never looked back. But those Eminence's do look and sound nice too.

Learning at this age is interesting; better focus, resources to purchase instruction from very good sources, great self-awareness, good understanding of teaching systems, patience, determination. But, less time to dedicate, physical challenges like stiff/sore joints...
