Thunderbird Club

Ok, I’m going to have to confess, I don’t know what’s different about the 2015 :/
Three differences, assuming nobody already said. Babicz bridge is stock. The pickups are DiCola pickups like in a 2013 or 2014 EB. The pickups are coil tapped. It is a somewhat different animal from any other Thunderbird.

Best way for me to go is probably forget the Sunn and find the rest of my ACC rig...
No arguments from me about that. I'm kinda beat today, on account of four hours of blissful noise making last night. I won't whine to you about lack of sleep. Well, maybe a little. The 'Bird through a 360 got all kinds of different sounds, depending on the song. It did the bright green sound that the bass has on Papa's Got a Brand New Bag to a furry dark brown sound that I can't compare to anything else, to you name it. I ran it mostly flat, with a little bass cut to reduce a tad of boom in the venue, and just changed the sound by playing near the bridge or neck, digging in, and rolling tone and bridge pickups on or off. The 2001 never disappoints. I took the '15 as a backup, and with the intention of using it on a couple songs that the drop-d tuner would be useful on, but the 2001 sounded so good that it never make it off the stand.

But, after loading in, jumping around for four hours, and then loading out, I'm kinda tired today. It's a happy kind of tired. Too bad I have to go back to the day job tomorrow morning.

Just as an update on that, Wendy went to the fracture clinic yesterday in the local hospital and they said the bones have slipped back into their broken position soon after the cast went on. So she's back to hospital this morning for surgery to break her wrist again and have it wired up

The ended up screwing a plate to hold it as opposed to wires, so she will be out of plaster in 2 weeks instead of six. So bigger surgery now but a shorter healing time. We're home and she's in a lot of pain, poor thing

Sorry it has turned into a bit more trouble for Wendy and hope it's smooth sailing from here on out.

No, got worse, she got discharged at 19:30 and was back in at 6:00 with a severe allergic reaction to something, sounds trivial but it was very scary yesterday morning, she came home late afternoon but she's in bed sleeping continually more or less since

Very sorry to hear that. Seems like one of those times that everything can go wrong is. Hope things get better.
