Naw, Pete Way's rack isn't nearly as nice as Veronica's. ;)
:DI mean just look how nicely that bass in the foreground sits in the guitar rack.:smug: Never seen Pete proudly show his guitar rack front and center on stage like that before.:woot:

For anyone interested ... I'm starting a build that is inspired by my love of T-birds (and Teisco's) and it's tagged on to a past build also T-bird related. This specific build link (below) starts at post #375, but you are welcome to review the earlier build posts and various rambling - sorta' like here. :)

Gold works for me, but only with a few specific body colors.
Same. Gold can make the "right" instrument look really good... but (in my opinion, of course) they are a distinct minority. Gold's kinda a pain in the arse too. It shows everything, and it's hard to clean, and it's softer so it wears out quickly from all the cleaning (not to mention string changes & stuff), so ya wind up with a shiny new looking instrument with worn out old looking hardware. Show me a used instrument with it's original gold hardware intact, & I'll show you an instrument that never came outa the case;)
