Thunderbird Club

Hey Rex, looks like you're feeling better now!
Fun little song, hard not to smile while playing it. I love your left hand technique, so fluid and smooth.
Thanks for posting, stay healthy brother!

Thanks for the nice words, man. Indeed, a great song, a great band, great music overall.

Luckily I'll be 100% better, I'm feeling kind of better now at least!

I try to play that way, the action does help a lot too, the lower the better IMO.

 Yeah, well. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Or people singing to tracks.
TBH, I wouldn't mind in the least working to a set set list. But it simply won't work-for the places we play.

Our worship sets (we have multiple teams, with lots of cross-pollination) are all over the map. Depending on who's leading, how they (and we) feel the spirit moving, how people are responding, there are multiple possible set lists.
  • set list to practice individually (which may vary over the week)
  • set list for Thu night rehearsal
  • set list for Sunday AM rehearsal
  • what we actually play each set (two on most Sundays)
  • variations on this for special events
Some weeks it's the same list all the way through (though how we play each song may vary). Other weeks range from minor changes to very different lists each time. Possible key changes depending on who's leading that song. So some weeks it's like being in a jam band (which I love). Some weeks it's not (which I also love). Very seldom do I have a set part handed to me.

I’m picturing early 60s coffee house with everyone snapping their fingers instead of clapping.

Speaking of 1962 - here's a perfect TSC's song I just discovered that we should cover -

Missing saddle? They look all there to me.....

Set-o'-strings, bit of clean & polish, some chrome screws from Philadelphia Luthiers & a few minutes to swap - if electronics are working as he says, then done-ish?
Unless I've missed something? :bag:

My thoughts exactly.
