i'm at about $875 - $900 with my used Carvin LB75F + accesories, Gallien-Krueger Backline 600, and my Gallien-Krueger 115 BLX-II. since we're including everything, i'm about to add a $35 Comfort Strapp and i'm really looking into getting a MM SR5.

i also have a $110 project bass, but i'm not counting that cuz i can't play it yet. it's a butchered Ibanez GSR200 with my own body.

Basses, almost $11000

Amps, $3400

Effects & accessories, about $1100

I am sure that I overlooked some miscellaneous stuff.

Yikes. Almost $16K and no talent.

So, let's bring this up to date.

I am using replacement value.

Basses and guitars - $13,400

Amps and cabinets - $3500

Effects and accessories - ~$1500

$18.5K, and still no talent.

actually, i was just thinking about this at rehearsal...

current on stage rig:

around 5k+

total gear 10k+ but a big portion of this is my lovely upright that misses the stage.(i really need to start playing jazz again, that are some artsy fartsy avant garde caca)

way too much.....lol

All music related gear (includes bass gear, drum set, synth workstation, and some recording gear): close to 9k

All bass gear: around 5k
Actual cost of my two basses, together: about 1k
The rest of my rig: 4k

Ages of of all of this gear: oldest gear is three years old, most of this is within the last year and half.

Oh btw, I'm 20 yrs old...... and no I'm not a drug dealer, and no mommy and daddy did not buy any of this (for those who might assume so).
