What's your day job?

Retired sysadmin-turned-network engineer, turning either software developer or aspiring musician.
The "retired" bit won't last, but I'm enjoying the break and catching up on all the music study I should have done 30 years ago. Currently taking bets on how long it'll take before I start getting paid to wrangle Dante et al.

Personal assistant to the President of the company I work for.
In addition I am the Facility Manager when he is away from the office my other hats includes computer data base maintainer, we are currently using Salesforce Kenandy ERP system I build BOM and create parts in the system. I'm a Senior level buyer of materials in a global market as well (I purchase material from other countries :) ) other that not much ha ha ha. Oh I started here in 1979 left in 1982 to become a full time musician. Returned after I left the road to start a family in 1994 so additional 27 years added to first 4 :)

I'm a planning manager at a 1.6 mil sq ft regional distribution center that focuses on making sure what is in the system matches what is on the floor. When the building is running smoothly (like it is right now) I really dont do much at all. Kind of an on demand problem resolution person. Just post on talk bass, reddit, youtube, and window shopping a 5 string on sweetwater. I do this 3 days a week with 4 days off. Gives me a bunch of time to play as much I want.
