Oh really? Whats a Florida panther?

Florida black bear, a subspecies of the American black bear.

Florida black wolf.

American Crocodile...native to Fla.

6 species of venomous snakes. 46 non venomous.

Craploads of lizards....most introduced.

No native constrictors.

But way too many introduced fish, reptiles, amphibians and mammals.

On Friday, I was at the front of a line of cars waiting for a schoolbus to finish with its flashing reds while students removed personal items from its street side storage area, and there were people pulling around the stopped line, then noting the schoolbus and continuing on.:mad:

Far Nor Cal, is trying to get rid of the pot smoking. The most popular car is a full size pickup. Eco friendly hybrid vehicles are a source of humor. Many of us have guns...lots of them. Include Sierras (especially east Sierras) to that list.

Sierras is where i spend most of my time when i am not force to be in San Jose due to work. Last weekend we were up in Sierras (D7 zone) training my buddy's dog, getting the puppy used to guns for hunting. One of the rangers was around and we talked to him for a while getting fire permit and such. He was damn surprised we were from Bay. Sadly, for people who think its a good thing, it's not.

I tend to clean up a lot of a crap that is left by these "we love nature" idiots who go out camping. It's damn near embarrassing to tell people you are from the Bay now. For example, i was going to Vegas for wedding 2 weeks ago, and i took my drive through X12 zone (mono county) I camped up in our regular hunting/camping spot over night. I brought a 1 trash bag with me for garbage, my first hour in the camp was spent filling up my trash bag with trash other people left. Plastic bags, hello kitty diapers, tie-dye shirts, broken hulu-hoops etc.. The trash bag was full plus stuff i put in the car to take down to the dump.


As i said, it's damn embarrassing, many people down in the bay talk about the earth, but the same people go out to "nature" and trash it. Then they complain about hunters killing deer, yet they trash the nature and we, the Bambi killers walk around and pick up their trash and stop the forest fires they are about to start. I killed 3 fires last year that were left by these idiots who left camp with out putting out the fire.

Really don't like what this place is becoming. Note it's not all are like this, but that's what stands out about bay area to California people outside the cities.

Now to happy subject, You hunt? We might be going up to X3-b zone in few years, any idea how it is up there? :)

Unfortunately the same type of people junk up our city streets as well by leaving their garbage all over the place and letting theirs dogs defecate where ever they feel like. I won't generalize because it is done by all kinds of self centered thoughtless people from all walks of life.

Well yeah, that's a given... I hunt with my friend's uncle who moved out of the bay. The story he tells us about how San Jose used to be, damn sad. It seems that people in big cities don't really care. People will laugh at you for picking up trash on the street. It's weird.

I do find it strange that alot of people don't care. Maybe it's more of a cultural thing, perhaps Americans are entitled that they just think that someone else will pick their trash for them. I'm not sure what the rates are, but A LOT higher percentage of people smoke in the UK (and London, a big city) and people there step on their cig, hold onto it and throw them away. You see very few butts on the streets there, or trash in general.

Haha, cig butts make me laugh. It seems that latest anti-smoking commercial I've seen is regarding littering. It shows a guy tossing a butt on the road, which then finds it way to the ocean and some fish dies. Then it tells us to stop smoking because XX% of litter is butts from ciggies and smokers kill the earth...

How about make a commercial that says stop littering instead.
