I didn't think about Pickguardian haha. My factory pickguard doesn't fit the best because of the Bassmods preamp the previous owner installed. I may just trim and sand it to fit, then send it in to pickguardian.

I've done a few searches but no conclusive results. I'm guessing there's no guards available for the Ursa 2 six besides white?

Playing tomorrow night with my band Chambers at The Mecca Lounge in Johnson City.

I have a VM jazz V that I've had since December 2011. Great bass, but a boat anchor for sure. Only mod was adding a complete control plate from an American Standard Jazz and Dunlop Straplocks. I use it as my live backup.

I played with Abiotic on Sunday. Their bassist is so sick. He played a Warwick Thumb 5.

I wonder where you can get another one of these. Mine fell out a long time ago. I've had a LH500 for about 3 years now no problems except cheap jacks.

It's real small and we had to bring a PA, but they have great pizza. They don't really have a stage, they just move some tables out of the way. Make sure you have an extension cord and a couple power strips just in case. I like it though, I'm a fan of small venues.

My band is playing Schmucks on December 15th. Pretty legit venue.

I keep mine super clean, but don't hesitate to wear them out. They all have light buckle rash and pick marks. They are kept polished and freshly strung.

I suspect it is that particular bass. I have heard people play them and they sounded great. It has substantially less output than my mim jazz with dimarzio ultra jazzes. I've been looking at the DP127. I just like a good midrangey p sound. I like the fatness you can get out of them with a pick.

Hmmm I haven't played mine (srx690dx) in months but I remember actually boosting the bass a little on the eq.

I have a vm jazz v and a sr300. The ibanez has a better build quality, but the jazz is solid and is a great bass and has superior tone IMO.

I had one as my first bass. Still do, actually. Wasn't bad at all, made cheap but worth the 80 it cost new.

I have one and I like it. I replaced the electronics with USA ones but kept the pickups. They're not bad at all.
