Anyone still using a Boss ME-50B multi effect pedal?

I purchased a used Markbass Mini 121p & cab from a retiring bassist and he threw in a Boss ME50b. I like the ease of adjusting the unit versus my B3N. I'm comparing the onboard compressors to my TC Hypergravity and EQ of the Sans Amp. I really like the volume "kill" with the wah pedal on the...

MC tone to my ear has a richer low end than the Axstar. The Axstar has a a more metallic tone. MC for me. Thanks for the comparison and the great licks!

    Boss GT-10B

I am interested in replacing my B3N with a GT10B. Have you compared the two units? I read, "there are two signal chains, but ONLY ONE SET OF EFFECTS!!! BEWARE", on the GT. I know it was an old thread and maybe someone has figured a way around this. I am also interested in the looper on the GT...

The Modified BEAD 4 String Bass Club

I use my BEAD on the country covers that are not too busy on bass lines and I especially love the low B. It is funny to watch my rhythm guitarist think he's playing the wrong chords when he sees my hand placement on the fretboard. Cheers!

The Modified BEAD 4 String Bass Club

I thought I needed a 5 string or a 6 string, but they were too wide for me. I had always wanted a Steinberger and the previous owner happened to have it strung BEAD. I planned on changing it but after playing it, I love the additional notes it brings.

I am not sure but I doubt it. I purchased my Steinberger from a newly retired musician. I believe Pelican cases were his choice for keeping his basses safe on the road.

    Is your band a mess?

I was asked to play bass for an originals band by a trusted friend of mine. He had been learning and creating lead guitar parts for 25 or more original tunes with another guitar player who is our singer and BL. Before I joined, they added a drummer who is playing in a cover band and gigs 3-4...

I have a newbie question. I've been playing a active bass, Ibanez MC900 through an 120 watt Ashdown studio 12 during band practice. I've just purchased my first passive bass, an Steinberger XP2. I don't want to modify the passive bass but I would like to increase the volume output with the...
