Dean Club!!!

Recorded the main riff from an instrumental I'm working on to demo these new strings on the Paramount. MAN, are they bright out of the package! I'm sure it'll change over time, but they sound much brighter through my amp than I expected them to. Threw a little bit of wah into the riff for good measure, too :roflmao:

I found one of these and should have it tomorrow. I just noticed yours has EMG pups rather than exposed pole piece MM style pups. Did you replace them?

I just bought two sets of DEAN USA Jazz Pups directly from Dean Guitars. One Hot set and one Vintage set.
I have not had the chance to put them on my Juggernaut yet. They are supposed to be great. Not to be confused with their Asian made DMT counterparts.

They do not appear to make the DMT 'P' pups any longer, but you could ask Scott Fraser at Dean if you'd rather try to get them direct instead of through AMAZON. His email is [email protected]

I dealt directly with him for mine as they were no longer orderable from the website. They actually made them to order for me. Took a week to get them.

Okay, cool. Are the non-US versions not any good? How much did the US sets cost for you?

The ones you’re looking at on Amazon are the USA DMT P pups

What’s in your Paramount are Asian DMT pups

My Juggernaut pups were $59 each as in $59 for neck pup and $59 for bridge pup.

I don’t think you can order DMT Asian pups unless they’re replacement pups

Scott Fraser is great to deal with and can better answer your questions than me

Another Dean (the green one)! Finally have a backup.

Love these Zones.. pbass pickup, jazz bass neck.

(Still waiting on strings, also gotta save up for 2 matching hipshots. $$$)

Looks like you did some mods on your yellow one.

Are you doing anything similar to the green one?

Am I seeing things or are these different in size? Black blocks look different necks look different horns look different?
