Speaking of three hour tour tours, a new rabbit hole has just made itself known to me:
The owner of that company is an old friend of mine from the windsurfing industry days and a pretty good guitarist to boot.
To hit the trifecta, he needs to start a physical therapy/rehab/prosthetics company, near the beach. Just sayin...

In the time of TB Elsewhere, an old friend of mine found me. It is this gentleman who is responsible for my nickname, La Contessa. It is at a radio station in Geneva, and all there is to know in this utterly innocent

Nah, what could go wrong?
But yeah, the wing is a probably a whole lot safer than kiteboards or windsurfers, and apparently much easier to learn. And given year round skiing and a big mountain biking and whitewater kayaking scene locally, PTs and orthopeds stay plenty busy around here for sure.

That's actually a decent little airplane! Flew one r/t between Montreal and Halifax. Air Canada managed a full meal service on that short flight. Good short-field performance. But the quad engines killed it.
I enjoyed flying in those quirky old airplanes.
IDK. IF I was flying across the 'drink', I think I'd prefer a little redundancy. You know. JIC. 'Course I've not flown commercial since 12/25/70.
