1. Get an old LP you like, and have it cut into one. My Guitarist in college had it done, and it looks so good..

I play modern stuff and to me the typical black,white, and Tort scream country on a natural finish fender. . Seen carbon fiber p pickgaurds on eBay. Couldn’t find a picture of a pbass with one but i think it looks decent on this Strat.Currently sporting Tortellini, but was looking for recommendations BESIDES white, black or gold anodized.

I have always liked tort on a natural or butterscotch finish precision (that's what I put on mine because it came with black)....but I also like some kind of pearloid (grey/black is my choice)

2. Wood. See if you can find some tiger striped ash.
Trying to imagine an LP pickguard. Does one album suffice? Is the record label preserved? If so, I am thinking something on Apple...or Zapple!
