The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Boutique guitar builders do it because Rick Turner did it for me before he passed away.
Some of the people on this thread are getting snarky as hell, just saying.

There is a significant difference in margins in relation to pedals and boutique instruments. To me it seems like it would be more of an inconvenience for Sushi to do this. I would think his end goal is to move inventory, not to restock it with old pedals.

Mine was light-hearted and tongue in cheek... However Nathan is a National Treasure so people get a little protective of him.

Man, It’s just a suggestion, Relax.

Man, people are just saying that your suggestion probably isn't a good one for a few reasons, relax.

SBSS: Hmm, Nathan doesn't seem to be responding much. He's probably working on something super important.

Me: my amp needs a less boring channel switch.

Sometimes text can be taken incorrectly I get it.

Rick Turner (who I knew) essentially became a hobbiest at the end…He was not a emerging entity.

Would you go to Sony and say I want a bigger TV? Why can’t I turn this in?
I mean come on….

Also you said, in this thread why make a pedal to cater to one players needs? And now your interested in it???

You know what, personally I don’t thing the Venus X is the right pedal for you. I suggest keeping what you have or find another solution.

Where are these people, because I just made Tacos at my house and you are all invited.

Put together the first "early access unit" Venus X tonight. This is it folks. This is the pedal. It's taken a lot of time and a lot of revisions to get here with @TonyP- , but hot damn it was worth it.

Congrats to @Sushi Box FX and @TonyP- !!!

The pre-amp looks amazing and from the teaser vids it sounds awesome!

Great job bringing this to production.

Can’t wait until custom ordering opens again. I’ve been feeling like it’s time for More… ;)
I still haven't found time to get the printer completely dialed in and back to production-ready, and between the upcoming Venus X release and a road trip in June I'll probably hold off on custom ordering until July or so. I want to get it back up and running because I enjoy doing custom builds, but I want to be able to focus on it without having to worry about a dozen other things at the same time.

Four words: ** Nathan Must Be Cloned **

I'm looking forward to the Venus X. I do have a question for the 'original' ;) Nathan - how did you come up with the name Venus X? When I see Venus X, it looks like "Venus sex", à la SpaceX.

Just adding to the allure!
