Cool! Where'd you get that pickguard??

Mike Quick from Quick Guards in Florida. I sent him a tracing of the original and he made the mirrored version. It fit perfectly and was flawless cosmetically. Not an easy guy to get in touch with and it takes a little while (he's very busy), but well worth it.

I have had this jazz a couple of years (4 or 5?)and this is hands down my favorite of any I've ever owned, it's light and I love the neck profile. Generally if a bass survives longer than 2 years at my house it's pretty much a permanent fixture

My 2009 fender jazz bass. I can do everything on it. Its the best sounding jazz i've played. Only reason I have the others is because I felt I "needed" a P bass and a 5 string. Most of my work is on my 5 string so I do need that, but I would rather play things up an octave than sell this jazz.

Duff - my 1987 Fender Jazz Bass Special. Duff was my first good bass. Other may come and go, fall in and out of favour but Duff is forever.

That's a recently acquired Fender Custom Shop Jazz. I didn't think I would ever commission a relic (even though I dig em), but the solid over burst thing is irresistible. Your elite Jazz is awesome too man.
