I am not sure if these are useful to anyone but here are parts for PC's Whims of Chambers record.

Here is quick practice video of the title track. I am thinking of releasing the incredible playalongs I make to practice with.

If anyone can explain the dark magic behind the intro and transition to Omnicron I will be very impressed. I am pretty sure a lot of this record were one and done takes. Some amazing playing all around.

So much blues and bebop language is condensed into this (relatively) simple tune. It should be a must learn for all bass players. It is like that first F Major Simandl etude for jazz.

For sure.

The whole record is full of great examples of bebop language. It's interesting to see the Coltrane tunes and compare them to where he got to a year later with Blue Trane. Just for the love is such an interesting take on the blues.

Omnicron is like an etude on how to play a minor iiv. That drum and bass 12/8 intro to swing is pure magic. It's kind of the essence of "jazz swing" to me. Always neither three nor two.
