Posted first on the X3 thread, but posting here in hopes someone sees it. I read from a couple Plethora users that the tuner doesn't really work with anything lower than the E string on bass, has this been fixed with recent firmware updates?

If there's any X3 users around, I'd love to know what are your thoughts about it. I'm thinking about getting one and was hoping to replace a couple pedals including my tuner with it, but I've read on a couple different places that the tuner doesn't really work with anything lower than the E...

Been wanting to get back to 3 for years now, but so far still at 2; a 5 and a 6 string.

I'd say switch the BH-2s first.

This might not be too easy to accomplish, but have you ever tried tuning your 7 string F#BEADGC?

Thank you and nice bass! I've never owned a BTB, only SRs, but in my experience trying them (a couple 6ers from different eras) that sharp edge didn't seem to bother me. As for the SC body, I guess I need to see one in person to decide... What I do know for sure is that I want my next one to be...

I've been wanting to get either a Premium BTB or EHB 6 for a while, but this one really caught my eye. Can't decide if I love or hate that upper "horn", though, it looks huge. Anyone here who owns a SC BTB that could comment on how it feels ergonomics-wise?

I've been considering getting a TC Electronic Plethora X3 (or X5 if you have the board space). It's a lot cheaper than the Stomp and can work really well if you're just wanting to get some dedicated effects, which you can program in a lot of different combinations.

This is how I was using mine for a while. It definitely works well for that!

Currently using Nolly's mic blend for the cabsim and also have the Element's noise gate on for a little extra cleaning.

Quick question, guys. Does any of you own/have any experience with the Boss Line Selector? If so, how do you use it? I got it earlier this year to explore different signal chain options with it but I ended up complicating my board more than anything else. I was using it either as an A/B channel...

My only reservation is that I don't really like the MK-1s (already have them in another SR), but I guess I could just replace them sometime down the line.

Now that 37'' multiscale basses are becoming more and more available in the bass market, the string makers have to catch up soon, don't know why in the world it's taking them so long to actually do so.

To me, the worst tone is probably Sheehan's.

I don't own this one, but used to have a EBMM Sterling 5 and it wasn't as stable as my other two from different brands.

I asked Gregor from Basstheworld about the BTB multiscale review video on Facebook and he said it'll be out in two weeks.

If I got either, it would replace a few pedals anyway, so I think board space shouldn't be an issue. I'm leaning more towards the XL because of the extra options. Now, I'm over to Pedalboard Planner...

It seems like the HX Stomp is everywhere these days... which means I should probably try to get one. My question to those who use it and/or the Stomp XL would be, which one? Is the XL worth the extra $ for more footswitches and options while playing live or the regular Stomp works just well...

Never owned one, but the few BTB's I've tried/borrowed before were a bit of a challenge because of that locking jack.

I've been literally checking their youtube channel every day, multiple times a day, to see if they had uploaded that demo. Shouldn't be too long now...:unsure:
