White MusicMan Stingray "Slo Special".

Sent it in for service and very happy I did. They said the fan was too close to another component and was clipping it. They also did a numer of other tests and made adjustments. Now I know what it should sound like.

Final update: We finally let our problematic lead vocalist go after the new year and he is still looking for another band. Since then we have picked up two new vocalists that are just awesome. One male and one female. We held onto our original guy way too long.

Ruled out everything except the amp. Shipped it to GK yesterday. Will keep everyone posted on calibre of customer service. The Amp is still under the one year warranty.

So why can't Ibanez build a premium bass that has a quick change battery slot in the back? I was considering the 1200 or the 1205 but I figured if they can't even plan a small nicety like that, how can I trust they put everything they could into the premium models. Evidently they did not.

So I did get this 100 watt model. Have used it playing small clubs as a bass monitor only as it was input into the pa for house sound. I would rate it adequate. Needs to be set properly or it will 'fart' out. Great for rehersals but I'm moving on to more serious gear for gigging. A

The MB 500 (fusion) has two channels. Each channel is rated 350 watts. But the amp is 500 watts. Not sure how they pull that off. The Schroeder cab is rated 700 watts and will be using one channel. If I want better lows what cab should I use in the 2nd channel to keep this rig on the...
