If you already have one you like, keep it for later since you like the tone. Also, make sure to adapt the setup to your taste, a 5 takes some time to find the right gauges and setup (string height, spacing etc).

You got extra switches from your Ultra vs the B7K, so it's not totally superfluous :)

As Doug said, you can let the left switch On and press the right switch only when you need the distortion (+EQ) to come in. I agree with you on this ^^

The B string sounds great though I'm not pleased with the gauge used by the previous owner, new strings are on their way. The sound is really clear on each string, definitely more than my $$. What's cool about it is that each of my Wick does what the other can't.
