The bass is so solid. Awesome Nordstrand Pickups, great EQs, a super smooth 15 piece Neck, gold hardware, Panga Panga fretboard! So sick! It sounds absolutely amazing and plays excellently.

I have 3 cheap Best Choice Acoustic basses. One here in Oregon, one back in Chicago and one in San Francisco. I bring my main one on hikes because that's when jams come into my head the most.

My most disappointing bass purchase was the Epiphone EB-0. Crappy pickup, lousy bridge. I even replaced both parts and it still just wasn't a good instrument. Maybe I just got a bad one

In the higher price range the Guild Starfire is an awesome bass. In the lower price range, the Jackson Minion is solid. Avoid the Epiphone EB-0.

I did that with this JBass (Glarry body / SX neck) it works just fine and I didn't have to adjust the nut at all.

I have something similar. An 87 Kramer Striker. I fixed this one up and will do more to it in the future.

My Rockbass Corvette $$ has an awesome neck. It's very smooth and gives the bass great ease of play.

I got a Glarry J Bass as an experimental bass to take apart and modify. I ended up replacing the neck with one from SX and I went even more experimental by UP tuning ADGC. The pickups are actually decent for the price but I still might replace them in the future.

I love mine! Probably the best sounding bass I have. Mine is Emerald Green but it's kind of hard to tell by the pic. Beautiful bass! Sounds great unplugged too!

Just my opinion but avoid the Epiphone EB0. The one I had was a muddy piece of junk.

I went to a music store to see if they had spare bass parts and dude gave me a Kramer Stricker for free. I can confirm the body is plywood. It's not a terribe bass but probably not worth $325.

I got this one for free and when I took off the neck I could definitely confirm the body is plywood. Still not a bad bass overall. I drop tuned mine to BEAD

It's a lot nicer than you would expect for $500 and has features that would cost a lot more on an American Fender. Haven't found areas for improvement just yet but I've only had it a few days
