What are you opinions on Rotosound Bass Strings?

rotosounds really got bashed because people were using them on rickenbackers back in the day and they did not recomend them on their basses.i have used them on my fenders and they are no worse than any other stainless string.they do also make them in nickel and they still sound good also!!!!

    G&L vs. G&L Tribute

there are a lot of differences to me.first and foremost the feel of the tribute l2000 is not the same as my mia. also the wiring is cheap and the parts are cheaper.the bridge as mentioned looks the same but is cheaper and the tuning keys are junk.for a beginning player they are good...

US vs non-US made Ampeg Amps & Cabs

the are plenty of american made ampegs floating around out there that finding one should not be a problem but as far as im concerned the overseas ampegs are not made as well period ! i guess you can argue this point back and forth forever but for me just knowing that its not made here is enough

Ampeg SVT 810 E - Made in USA vs. Made in China

ampeg should just make the heritage line and dump the overseas products.they could make everything here,i would rather be on a waiting list for one than to buy the chinese ones.if ampeg wants to fly the badge on the overseas made ampegs they should at least drop the prices more.they do not...
