    This is my Fender avri '57 Precision bass built in 1988, note the factory decal is in the wrong spot. She's getting nicely distressed. I replaced the pickguard for a black bakelite one just to change it up a bit, still have the the anodised gold.

    Trustrod will make the neck straighter from your jazz. No problem. Flats are the real bass strings from back in the day.

    I think they are own brand strings. Probably gibson strings. But some music stores put different strings on the basses that they have on the floor in the store. Most basses that come out of the factory have dead strings. This is my experience.

    I removed the screws haha. And than your left with the screw holes, and they work just like the antlers on a volume/tone pot. Its a perfect to solder wires to.

    in what kind of wall socked is you amp plug into? grounded? which power group in your house are you using. because a lot of differed electrical appliances (TVs, computers, lights) on the same power group can cause the buzzing sound. Oyeah is the buzz still there when you hit a note?

    Nice gibson blackbird;P, It's almost about how low my basses hang. On my photos my strap is not how i normaly have them, i just took them of my guitars. . Normal ITs a little bit lower. And how care how low or high the bass hangs right?
